The-Woman-In-Black7

“The Woman in Black” is a 1987 stage play, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt. The play is based on the book of the same name, which was written in 1983 by Susan Hill. The Story is told from the perspective of a junior Solicitor as he encounters members of a small village (all played by the actor) who tell the ghost story of the Woman in Black and a final encounter with the woman. The production opened in London’s West End in 1989 and is still being performed there, becoming the second longest-running non-musical play in the history of the West End.
