02/15/2014

This Tuesday, February 18th, please join us for another reading in our NEW WORKS SERIES: “(i still want) A Little More” by Andie Bottrell.

PCW New Works

Once a month, Play Club West is proud to present the reading of a NEW WORK (plays, screenplays, teleplays, one acts, tv pilots), followed by a post-reading talkback.

SYNOPSIS:
“(i still want) A Little More” is a play in two acts with three characters that explores the line between loving pacifism and pointless masochism. It also examines our very human compulsion to constantly be seeking a little more of one thing or another for better or worse. Rul and Damen are writing partners. Damen and Silvia are married. Rul is in love with Damen. Silvia is pregnant and wants it. Damen doesn’t. Rul wants love. Silvia wants new life. Damen wants control. Shake and watch it all explode.
