7/15 One of these Days (NEW WORKS SERIES)
This Tuesday, JULY 15th, we will be reading ONE OF THESE DAYS, a new work by Eileen Siedman.
A two act polemic on tomorrow’s presidency, when the ghosts of Thomas Jefferson and Samuel Adams return from “the other side” and discover that a Native American woman is Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, an Asian American woman is Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, an African American woman is primary Clerk to the Chief Justice, an Hispanic American woman is a popular TV and radio talk show host, and an African American man is head of the FBI. The imminent presidential election is a tossup since the president is dying, the vice-president is controlled by the military, and the Chief Justice is being urged to run for president.
