This Tuesday, JANUARY 12th, we will be reading a play in our monthly NEW WORKS SERIES: PAINT by Jeff Scot Carey.

PCW New Works

PAINT is the story of five friends living in Manhattan, who grew up together in the Fingerlakes region upstate. Two of the five are brothers, but they had a falling out in the recent past and are now estranged. Whatever the cause of the rift was, it has never been discussed within the group or dealt with at all because the younger brother had left town and essentially disappeared from their lives. So now when the younger of the brothers returns to the city and the past starts to unfold, lines start to be drawn, faith is questioned, and the meaning of real love between friends is challenged.
